BORDER OPENINGS UPDATE

As of July 2, 2020

ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA: The country reopened to tourists on June 4. However, travelers will have to adhere to social distancing guidelines, including face masks in public. All snorkel and dive excursions are also banned, and guests can only participate in activities offered via their resorts. They cannot explore the islands. American Airlines resumed service to the Caribbean with flights to Antigua the last week of May, ​

BAHAMAS  The Bahamas will reopen to tourists on July 1.   Hotel stays will be restricted to select properties.  If you travel to the Bahamas, you will be required to complete and submit this online application. https://travel.gov.bs/

BARBADOS  The Grantley Adams International Airport is scheduled to reopen on June 24, 2020.   A mandatory 14-day quarantine for all persons entering Barbados.  The Government of Barbados is conducting thermal screening at airports and seaports.   Nonstop Jet Blue flights are scheduled to begin on the 31 July 2020. 

CANADA:  Borders will open to Tourist travel on the 21 July 2020.

Dominican Republic - DR is now open. Punta Cana International Airport and other airports across the country will resume operations on July 1 as flights operated by major carriers return to the Caribbean hotspot. At the same time, about half of the country's hotels will reopen their doors, with the remainder set to reopen by November.

GRENADA  Jet blue is scheduled to begin flying to Grenada on the 7 July.

GUYANA   Non stop Flights from New York to Georgetown on Caribbean Airline will resume on the 01 September.  Until then you may be able to get to Georgetown with a change of planes in POS.

HAITI:  Jet Blue has flights scheduled flights to Port Au Prince after the 20 July 2020.

SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES.   Flights from New York to St Vincent on Caribbean Airline will resume on the 15 July. Nonstop on Wednesdays.

ST LUCIA:  Borders are open but the first non stop flight is scheduled for 25 July 2020. If you travel to St Lucia, you must be tested for Covid-19 up to a maximum of 48 hours before your flight to St Lucia.  You must be certified Covid free to be able to travel.  All travelers will be subject to screening and temperature checks in St Lucia.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO  Flights from New York on Caribbean Airline are tentatively scheduled to resume on the 15 July, but may be delayed by the TnT government.

UNITED KINGDOM:  Borders are open but visitors will be required to quarantine for 14 days.
